Our fee is five dollars an hour.
Flat. Not a percentage, not a sliding scale, and it doesn't grow when your rate does. Everything else on your charge rate is a statutory cost or a payroll cost, and we show you each one.

Agency fees

Some agencies discount a self-find engagement. We don't, because the fee isn't a finder's fee — it pays for contract management, payroll and staying accountable to you and the client for the length of the engagement. None of that changes depending on who found the role.
It also doesn't change with your rate, your panel or your clearance. $5.00 an hour is the whole of our fee, and it's the same number we'd quote anyone. What sits around it — payroll tax and insurances — is set by legislation and by your insurer, not by us.
Our agency fee does not include percentage-based statutory charges — insurances and payroll tax. Those are listed below in full, and monthly payroll processing is included at no charge.
What sits outside our fee
Statutory and payroll costs, listed.
Workers’ compensation, public liability and professional indemnity. The rate varies by state and insurer — 1.5% is the ACT figure used below. Passed through at cost, no loading.
Legislated, and it varies state to state. The ACT rate of 6.85% is used in the example below.
We run payroll in-house and charge no processing percentage on the standard monthly cycle. More frequent pay runs cost more to administer, so fortnightly and weekly carry a fee — the table below shows exactly what.
How often you get paid
Monthly is the standard pay cycle and it costs nothing. If you'd rather be paid more often, the extra pay runs come out of your rate as a small percentage — your call, and you can change it between engagements.

The 10% and 15% figures are illustrative comparisons, not quotes from any particular agency. Statutory percentages vary by state, insurer and engagement, and are charged to the client in addition to our fee. We'll put your actual numbers in writing before you sign anything.
Questions we get asked
The fine print, in plain English.
Does the fee go up if my rate does?
No. It’s $5.00 an hour at $90 and $5.00 an hour at $190. A percentage fee rewards us for your rate rising; a flat fee doesn’t.
Who actually pays it?
The agency does, as part of the charge rate. It isn’t deducted from your pay — but it does sit inside the total the client is charged, which is why we show you the whole rate.
What if I found the role myself?
Same $5.00. We’re not charging you a finder’s fee for a role you found — you’re paying for contract management, payroll and compliance, and that work is the same either way.
What about payroll processing?
Monthly pay runs cost you nothing — there’s no processing percentage on the standard cycle. Fortnightly and weekly are available if cash flow matters more to you than the extra percentage.
Will you match a competitor’s price?
If someone has published a lower fee for the same role and the same conditions, bring it to us in writing and we’ll match it.
When do I get paid?
Monthly as standard, at no charge. Timesheets approved before midday are processed the same working day, by overnight EFT.
